laika found this vaugely disturbing but ultimately harmless. Ezra did not notice, as they were completely demolishing their ice cream. Ezra finished their’s in record time and even got some ice cream on their nose

They were happy to get a giggle out of the both of them, a small stir of pride rising in their chest before they beamed. "It's your turn to choose a place now!"
[Fry is still shocked, but snaps to attention when Kevin arrives back with a plethora of items.]
"Ah, this is neat! What items and foodstuffs did you procure?"
[Fry watches as Kevin moves around the waterfront very quickly. Despite not engaging in combat, she's quite the quick and nimble companion.]
[Fry smiles as she observes.]
[Fry lowers herself down, she can hear her friends underneath the boardwalk very faintly. The echo of their voices being the only thing carried up to the big bridge.]
